20 years of EWC legislation in Europe

On the occassion of the 20th anniversary of entry into force of the EU legislation on European Works Councils the ETUI (Romuald Jagodziński) published two articles on this topic. Both give an overview of the developments, main current characterstics, challenges and a future outlook.

Firstly, on the London School of Economics' European Politics and Policy blog Europp the post 'European Works Councils: An experiment in workplace democracy which remains more relevant than ever' with an accompannying infographic in English.

Secondly, on 29/11/2016, the German magazine 'Mitbestimmung' of the Hans Böckler Foundation published an article by Romuald Jagodziński (ETUI) titled 'Europäische Betriebsräte feiern Jubiläum' (European Works Councils celebrate an anniversary).

Both infographics are available for download in the 'Infographics' section of www.worker-participation.eu. The ETUI welcomes requests for source files for parties interested to translate or reuse the infographics.
